The Inspiration Behind the Design of the Edie Bag
The Edie tote bag was introduced in 2006 and the original inspiration behind the Edie bag was British “It Girl” Sienna Miller who at the time was playing fashion icon Edie Sedgwick in the motion picture “The Factory Girl”.

The front of the Edie bag features shiny gold button shaped hardware pieces that embody the “Mod” influence from the film “The Factory Girl. The strips of leather that descend below the gold buckles are only connected to the handbag at the very top of the leather piece leaving the rest of the strip of leather unattached from the bag.
